The Importance of Capturing Before and After Photos at Your Skin Clinic

We absolutely love talking to clients about the importance of using a skin analysis system. Now many of you may think that is just the skin consult before the treatment.  It goes much deeper than that and can actually help you to not only elevate your business, but it can help your aesthetics team, along with seeing a larger ROI on your retail.  How can this be done? Let me tell you. 

One of the top retail trends of the year are devices. Being on trend with your salon or spa allows your clients to not only want to keep coming back to you, but this also builds your word-of-mouth reach. One of the ways you can instantly boost the value of your services and treatments is by incorporating a skin analysis device into your practice, like the OBSERV 320 or OBSERV 520X. These skin analysis systems allow you to capture not only high-quality images, but gives your clients real, actual insight into their skin, where a typical consult wouldn’t allow you to do. 

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

For example, let’s say a client comes in for a customized facial.  You can build in the cost of a skin analysis into the treatment so there is no push back from the client as to why they don’t need this today.  You explain how you’re going to be able to really take a closer look at her skin and from there we can better recommend products for at home care, as well as what products should be used in the treatment to better address the skin. The client is excited to see what their skin looks like but is also concerned she or he hasn’t been wearing sunscreen over the years like they should (no worries, we have a fix for that too!). Let’s say the client’s main concern from the images was in fact sun damage.  You can customize the facial to focus on this concern based on the images taken, and you can also talk to the client about some of the other devices you offer in the spa, i.e., Diamond Tome Microdermabrasion Machine, to address this concern even more so.
